Buying prescribed Drugs here in the Philippines can be very expensive, especially when you look at the average national income. 

THEGENERICSPHARMACY offers a wide range of generic brand drugs at affordable prices (typically only common drug types).

By only selling the generic brands, they are able to offer us, the customer, huge savings on the often excessively priced branded medications high street pharmacies will try to push on us.

All pharmacies will stock generic branded drugs, but do not promote this fact. Obviously they want to sell the much higher priced branded tablets.

A little History:

THEGENERICSPHARMACY, stemmed from its mother company, registered in 1949.

In 1959,  when a group of FIlipino enterpreneurs took over , the company began importing and wholesaling pharmaceutical products.

In 1989, with the prices of medical and pharmaceutical products soaring, the company decided to sell generic drugs primarily to government hospitals to help less privileged Filipinos avail of affordable quality medicines.
