Frankies Cafe, Island City Mall

Frankies Café, Island City Mall, offers a great choice of food with a menu drawing its inspiration from Mexican, American and Mediterranean cuisine.

Along with the wide variety of dishes you can also just enjoy an excellent brewed coffee (only 45 pesos) served with fresh milk. If you’re after something a little stronger then San Miguel is also available.

Many of the meat dishes on offer use ground sirloin steak and are freshly cooked. so you are assured of a quality dish.

For sure the prices at Frankies Café are not the cheapest in town, but then Frankie is not trying to be. His aim is to offer something different to the typical fast food outlets.  There is a promo menu offering some great budget choices.

I recently stopped by and had the “Meat Lovers, Frankies Pride Burger”, this is a super top sirloin BBQ burger with French fries and soft drink.

I found the taste and texture of the burger excellent. The French fries were made from fresh (real) potatoes and reminded me of the chips in an English Café. All this for 159 pesos, I was more than happy with the quality and value.

Frankies has a bit of an American dinner theme going on, with pictures of famous actors and actresses adorning the restaurant and the signage.

I recommend you stop by Frankies Café if you are visiting ICM and fancy a snack. Perhaps you just want to stop for a coffee, Frankie will always be happy to say hello.
