Tagbilran City, Bohol, is not known for its extensive nightlife, that said there are plenty of places to keep you entertained.
The two main disco / clubs are Club Atmospheres (Metro Center Hotel) with some "Hot Themed Events" and the Laser Disco located in Bohol Tropics Resort Hotel. Both of these have good sound systems and are quite popular hangouts.
If you are into karaoke, there are quite a a few places in town are worth checking out. The well established Doys Seafood Grill, Bojol Grill and the new TIME-OUT Sports Bar – Karaoke Lounge, located at the La Vista BQ Mall.
Friends have told me that they prefer the karaoke at Doys over TIME-OUT but the latter is still new and additional rooms are under construction.
I am not really into the bar and beer scene, but there are again a number of places you can get a drink in the evening. Many expats have their favorite haunts, asking a few of them shud give you a better idea. Bohol Sports Bar near Tagbilaran Airport is very popular I am told.
Lohob Grill serves food and drink and normally has an acoustic group starting around 9pm.
Hotels and Resorts Hotels are also a great place to have a meal and drink. Metro Center, Bohol Tropics are both in the City so easily reached. Other resort hotels in Panglao are accessible but be prepared to pay quite a lot for you transport there and back.
You will also find many of the coffee shops serve beer and spirits, Brewpoint Coffee Club and Gelateria Milano to name just two. They are certainly worth checking out if your after a quiet drink in pleasant surroundings.
La Vista, BQ Mall is one of the new hip places to be and to be seen. The level has Gelaterial Milano, TIME-OUT Sports – Karaoke Lounge, Payag and Wok Express Restaurants. Above these on the very top level is La Vista where a live bands play every weekend. This is a very popular hang out for the Bohol College Kids and has a young and trendy vibe to it.
For sure there are other places worthy of a mention but I am not looking to provide a complete Tagbilaran Entertainment Directory. I will just add places I have personally visited.
